Hello!  Welcome to the website of Africali Rhodesian Ridgebacks, in Northern California, USA.

We are members in good standing of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States, and adhere to the RRCUS Code of Ethics.    

This website is a pictorial celebration of, and tribute to, the functional and beautiful Ridgeback of the venerable kennel,  Glenaholm Rhodesian Ridgebacks , est 1949.  Msdms. Laurie Venter and Norah Ormerod have been gracious in allowing us Rhodesian Ridgebacks still bred true to original Personality, Form and Function...determined at the standardizing of this beloved breed.  We are fortunate and very grateful to Laurie and Norah for entrusting their lineage to us, and allowing us to help preserve the heritage Rhodesian Ridgeback.  Norah Ormerod lives in the US, bringing the benefit of her knowledge to the States.

Our Rhodesian Ridgebacks are superb house dogs; with the temperament suited for family life...gentle with the children, farm animals and house pets, all the while alert and protective, and with a wonderful SENSE OF HUMOR!
